Drugstore Makeup Haul

Update: I would first like to apologize for the lack of posts. A close friend of mine recently passed away so I haven't had the motivation to sit down at my computer and blog. While I'm not completely done with my grieving period, I need to do things I enjoy to get back in the swing of things. I hope you all understand why I've been gone. I'm excited to be back :)

I'm also going to be putting more effort into my blog. That includes finding a way to improve the quality of my photos. Investing in a good camera will take me to the level I want to be at.

Without further ado, lets get on with the post. I hope y'all have been having a great week!

Face

>>Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream<<
I talked about this product in my Top 3 Foundations post. I've been wearing this everyday for school.

>>Revlon Photoready Powder<<
Personally I prefer a translucent powder, and I find this one doesn't make my skin look dry.

>>Sonia Kashuk Eyebrow Gel<<
I just recently started using an eyebrow gel and it makes all the difference. It keeps your eyebrows in place all day.

Eyes

>>NYX Adorable Shadow Palette<<
I rarely wear eyeshadow, but when I do I reach for neutral colors. The colors in this palette are very pigmented and are great for a natural look.

>>Maybelline Color Tattoo<<
I picked up the shade Bad To The Bronze. I love the color tattoos because they last all day and can be used as a primer for other shadows.

>>L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara<<
This mascara works wonders. The brush does a great job at separating and lengthening lashes. The brush also bends slightly so that can take a while to get used to. The only thing I dislike is that I bought it in waterproof and it's a struggle to remove at the end of the day.

>>Maybelline 'The Rocket' Mascara<<
I've only used this once so I can't give a thorough review. When I did apply it, it became clumpy with two coats. I'll have to experiment and see the best way of applying it because I love what it did for my lashes. The brush is also very stiff, which isn't my favorite.

>>Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer<<
Its has a sponge applicator where the product comes out from. It's easy to apply and really does cover dark circles. It doesn't last all day even with a primer and powder, so this is more of a product to use if you're going out for a couple hours.

Lips

>>Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick<<
This is in the shade 107. It's the perfect red color for fall and Christmas. I've already imagined wearing this color to all my Christmas parties!

>>L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick<<
This lipstick is from an exclusive collection now in stores. The color I bought is Liya's Nude 630. This is the perfect nude lipstick for anyone with a deeper skin tone. Another perfect shade for fall.

>>Maybelline Color Elixir<<
In the shade Blush Essence 095. It's a pretty pale pink color when applied on the lips that adds shine and a natural looking color to your lips.

Left to Right: Rimmel Kate Moss in 107, Maybelline Color Elixir in Blush Essence, L'Oreal Color Riche in Liya's Nude.

What products do you like from the drugstore?

  1. I really enjoyed reading about these products, I love when bloggers write about drugstore products, not everyone can afford the more expensive makeup all the time! :) x

I'm a newbie blogger and I'm hoping to make some like-minded blogger friends, if you're interested! :3
